After-Conference Tour of Brussels
Saturday, March 30th
As a conclusion to the conference, we are happy to invite attendees to join a tour of Brussels.
Following up with the theme of the conference, the tour will visit architectural projects and urban sites relevant to the conference topic and to the history and transformation of Brussels into the European capital.
The tour will include the meeting with institutions operating in the transformation of Brussels and its social and spatial development.

- Brussels city centre
- Early XIX Century Brussels: Bozar and Museum Horta
- Ixelles, the Diplomatic Quarter and Parc Du Cinquantenaire
- The European Parliament
- Association Foyer and Dar Al-Amal. Tour of the association’s structures and projects and visit to the historical workers' neighbourhood of Molenbeek and its Saturday Market by Foyer’s staff.
- Visit to new housing projects along Brussel’s Canal (Canal Plan)
